The Friends of Britannia Panopticon received charitable recognition in June 1999 and has been established to assist the Britannia Panopticon Music Hall Trust in it’s campaign to raise public awareness and ultimately restore this unique and valuable piece of Scottish social history.

As a Friend, your subscription or donation will be valuable in furthering the campaign. Your help and support will help to ensure that this little auditorium will survive for future generations to enjoy as a museum of popular entertainments, visitor attraction , place of pilgrimage for fans of Stan Laurel and Jack Buchanan and music hall for the 21st Century, as well as offering a taste of 19th Century nights out.

In return for your support and membership, you will receive a bi-yearly news letter, annual report and information about any events, exhibitions, talks and publications on offer. We will even visit your club, society or group to talk about our campaign. As a Friend you will receive prior knowledge and discounts (when available) to any of the above.
