Henry McKeown is a director of McKeown Alexander Architects Ltd and has extensive experience of the refurbishment and extension/conversion of historic and listed buildings and substantial experience in housing design.  His role as a member of the Scottish Arts Council Lottery Capital Committee gives him excellent knowledge and experience of the processes of application and implementation of grant funded works.  As noted in his cv and practice profile the current work undertaken by the practice under his direction fuses a pragmatic grasp of the programme and its relationship to context, producing challenging solutions.  His work and the practice’s has been published internationally.
